Lake Barbellino, located at the height of 1.862 metres (6,108 ft), is the largest artificial lake in the province of Bergamo. Together with the nearby Curò Hut is also one of the most famous destinations in the Orobian Alps. A 1 km long reservoir that receives the water from several tributaries, including the one of the Trobio stream that gives the lake its peculiar greenish colour. A true spectacle for the eyes and a great reward for the demanding yet very panoramic climb. The path is in excellent conditions and the stunning views will keep you busy enjoying every single moment of the hike.
